Don't let body image struggles ruin your vacation.
I spent the majority of my last trip in a bathing suit. It was exactly what I wanted out of the vacation when I booked it — time in the sun and the water with my friends. Unfortunately, it didn't come without body insecurity. There were moments when I felt uncomfortable in my own skin (and in a bikini) and found myself comparing how I looked with how my friends looked. Looking back, I wish I hadn't focused on it so much. If you're planning on taking a trip soon, I highly recommend reading the piece by Ashley Broadwater below. She spoke with experts about how to maintain a positive (or, at the very least, neutral) body image when you're on vacation. It's advice I wish I had followed before I went away. ❤️, Lindsay |

Got a spare minute? Use it to change your life. Our "A Minute And Change" series will help you become happier, healthier and more productive by doing one thing a little differently. This week's tip comes from Tom Aulet, co-founder and CEO of Ergatta, on what he does when he only has a few minutes to de-stress: If I'm at home, I pet one of my cats. It makes them happy, it feels good, and it gets my head out of productivity-optimization mode. If I'm at the office, I'll catch up on my personal texts. It gives me a bit of non-work human interaction and makes me feel less behind. |
