After postponing our original wedding, I'm getting married in a few weeks. I've been holding my breath for more than two years as we've planned, then scrapped, then re-planned the event based on COVID. Here's her advice if you feel like your days are blurring together: There's a lot of evidence to suggest that your routine, and also the number of activities that you're engaged in, that that's going to influence how you're perceiving time. Changing your environment — stepping out of the house, going on walks, or even switching up the room you work in — can trick your brain into thinking more is happening, so that time passes more regularly. |
