RUNAWAY ALABAMA CORRECTIONS COP DIES AFTER CHASE, FUGITIVE ARRESTED An Alabama corrections official has died and an inmate she was believed to have helped escape was taken into custody after a pursuit in Evansville, Indiana. A Ford pickup driven by fugitive Casey White, with corrections officer Vicky White as a passenger, crashed during the chase by U.S. marshals. Casey White surrendered and Vicky White was transported to a hospital after a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
