WHAT'S A WOMAN? GOP senators on the Judiciary Committee don't agree how to define a woman, and some wouldn't even try when HuffPost asked them. The same senators had grilled President Joe Biden's Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson for not answering a question on defining the word during her Senate confirmation hearing. "I have more of a traditional view of what a woman is," said Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.). What is that? "My wife." [HuffPost] TRUMP AIDES REFERRED FOR CRIMINAL CONTEMPT OF CONGRESS The House of Representatives voted in favor of referring former trade adviser Peter Navarro and social media chief Dan Scavino for Justice Department prosecution after they defied subpoenas from the Jan. 6 committee investigating the Capitol riot. The two former Trump aides could face as much as a year behind bars if the DOJ convicts them. [HuffPost] MARIUPOL CIVILIAN DEATH TOLL TOPS 5,000 Ukrainian authorities have urged people living in the Donbas to evacuate immediately as the country braces for a renewed Russian offensive in the east. D.C. SUPERSPREADER EVENT? Attorney General Merrick Garland and Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo both revealed they tested positive for COVID following their attendance at the politician-packed Gridiron Dinner in Washington. Other attendees testing positive include Reps. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and Joaquin Castro (D-Texas), about a half-dozen journalists, and White House and National Security Council staffers. Obama also called on social media companies to be more transparent about their practices rather than profiting from conflict. Human rights groups say they fear the kingdom could throw the case out. [AP] TEXAS GOV SAYS HE WILL BUS UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS TO D.C. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) said the state will bus undocumented immigrants to Washington following President Joe Biden's lifting of a policy that turned away migrants because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
