Plus, some laughs for you this Thursday
Much changed in guest writer Amanda Lezra's life when she stopped drinking, including her marriage — and her sex life. The writer penned a story for HuffPost Personal this week about how drinking became an integral part of her relationship: "For three years, Liam and I hooked up in parks, parties, cars and alleys. For us, this was an act of defiance against anyone ― nuclear family members, acquaintances, strangers ― who told us to tone down our queerness," she writes. "We had sex in three different bathrooms the day we got married in San Francisco City Hall, and I drank so much tequila, the bars turned to fluorescent red pulp." Read more of her story here.
