The ruling to order the release of more than 100 emails from Trump adviser John Eastman to the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection marks a major legal win for the panel. "I was expressing moral outrage, and I make no apologies," he said. Biden said he had no interest in escalating a conflict with a nuclear arms, but was expressing a view shared by many. JAN. 6 PANEL WANTS TO INTERVIEW GINNI THOMAS OVER TEXTS The House committee investigating the Capitol attack reportedly will soon move to interview Ginni Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, over her texts to former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows urging him to help overturn the 2020 presidential election. The panel will likely ask her to testify voluntarily, although they don't rule out issuing subpoenas.
