The 5th edition of the operation "Your most beautiful market" is launched, vote until April 8

After Sanary-sur-mer in 2018, Montbrison in 2019, Dieppe in 2020, and Ã‰taples-sur-mer in 2021, which French market will win the 5th edition of "Your most beautiful market", a local initiative created by Jean-Pierre Pernaut? ? Each year, the French are invited to vote for the most beautiful markets in their region , with a participation of up to 3.5 million votes.

A two-step vote

As in previous years, the vote will take place in two stages: from March 14 to April 8, the French can elect their favorite regional market, in partnership with the regional daily press - all you have to do is go to the site for your region . At the end of this first vote, the list of the 24 winning markets of the 2022 edition will be revealed in the 1 p.m. news of TF1 on Friday April 15.

A national vote will then take place from April 27 to June 22, on a site that will open for the occasion: votreplusbeaumarche.fr. Each week, the winning markets will be highlighted in a series of reports broadcast in Marie-Sophie Lacarrau's newscast.

New this season

This year, the "Your most beautiful market" competition sees the arrival of a "super jury" of six members: three emblematic personalities of TF1 as well as three randomly selected viewers will be able to vote for their favorite market in France. The winner of the 2022 edition will finally be announced in TF1's 1 p.m. newspaper the week of June 27.

"Promote regional products"

For five years, this initiative has wanted to "promote regional products, encourage short circuits and honor producers ", according to the TF1 group. For Marie-Sophie Lacarrau, Jean-Pierre Pernaut's successor at the presentation of the emblematic mid-day news, "the markets are very important in the life of our regions. They are very authentic places, very friendly. At the market, we talk to each other, we discuss, we get news, we hear accents, we taste good products, we listen to the advice of those who offer them to us. don't count their hours. We feel their work, their love of the land and good products, their sense of sharing."
