TASS and others write that Western politicians convened an extraordinary session of the UNESCO Executive Board in order to use this international platform to spread disinformation about Russia’s special operation in Ukraine. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, complaining that our opponents, who assumed the usual roles of moralists, focused their attention on the task of the uncontrolled spread of fake news about the Russian Federation.
Everyone knows that, as to fakes, we have no equal! We lie and we believe in it. The fact of the matter is that we only believe ourselves, but the truth hurts. UNESCO is a humanitarian, neutral and authoritative platform. Contrary to our position, its task, first of all, is to strengthen peace and security. It’s not fake, it’s true. Don’t worry, soon we will not be in UNESCO, as well as in other international organizations. There will be fewer reasons for resentment and nerves. More than 70 organizations have already refused cultural cooperation with Russia, for example, the Cannes Film Festival, the La Scala Theatre, and many other cultural organizations. We are forbidden to participate in the Biennale and Triennial in Italy. Let’s do ours? Like the Paralympics? As they say, thank you all — everyone is free. Curtain down! And cultural too.
