Before the pandemic happened Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan was well known for running promotions with their partner airlines. Whether is was for earning more miles or redeeming less miles, you could count on Alaska to offer something several times per year. That has not been the case for nearly 2 years but as of a couple of days ago if you made sure to read the latest email blast from Alaska you would have seen their first partner offer since 2020 and this one is great because there are two options! The offers are for travel on Fiji Airways and if you redeem miles for a Fiji Airways award flight you’ll be receive up to a 50% discount or if you buy a Fiji Airways flight with cash and credit it to Mileage Plan you can earn double miles on those flights.
The up to 50% discount offer is showing lots of availability for economy class but very little to no business class availability. But I will say the economy class redemption is still a really good deal! Here is an example of Vancouver to Nadi in September:

In this example you are receiving a value of 2.675 cents (US$) per mile. That's over 3.3 cents C$ and for an economy class redemption that is amazing!
