GINNI THOMAS MESSAGES TO MEADOWS REVEALED Ginni Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, sent nearly two dozen text messages urging former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows to aggressively move to overturn the 2020 presidential election. "The majority knows Biden and the Left is attempting the greatest Heist of our History," she wrote. REP. MO BROOKS SAYS TRUMP IS 'STILL' DEMANDING ELECTION BE 'RESCINDED' Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.), who helped inspire Trump supporters to storm the Capitol on Jan. 6, said Trump "always brings up 'We got to rescind the election. We got to take Joe Biden out and put me in now.'" Jeff Fortenberry of Nebraska was convicted of lying to federal authorities about an illegal $30,000 contribution to his campaign from a foreign billionaire at a 2016 Los Angeles fundraiser. A federal jury in California found the nine-term Republican guilty of one count of falsifying and concealing material facts and two counts of making false statements. Each count carries a potential five-year prison sentence and fines. The Numu Newe National Monument would span nearly 3 million acres of federal lands that are the ancestral home of the Paiute and Shoshone people, and would be the largest national monument on land. [HuffPost] ARIZONA SENDS 15-WEEK ABORTION BAN TO GOV The Arizona House voted on party lines to outlaw abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy, mirroring a Mississippi law now being considered by the nation's high court. The bill now goes to Republican Gov. Doug Ducey, an abortion opponent who has signed every piece of anti-abortion legislation that has reached his desk since he took office in 2015. [AP] |
