And judging by its appearance on the catwalks over the past few seasons, it's looking as if it's – sorry – a trend with legs. You might have a mini in your wardrobe worth dusting off, but here are some newer options. Look out for vibrant and quirky designs and colours when shopping secondhand, and charming "conversation prints" (the kind that people can't help but comment on) everywhere on the high street, ranging from op art that nods to the mini's 60s heritage to classic florals. For something with real oomph, try renting a designer miniskirt. |
