Canada’s former chief of the defence workers says Ukraine wants a NATO supported no-fly zone.
“What they want, general, greater than anything, is a no-fly zone,” retired Common Rick Hillier instructed Evan Solomon on CTV Information Channel’s Energy Play Tuesday.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is urgent NATO to implement a no-fly zone on Russian helicopters, airplanes and missiles.
If carried out, a no-fly zone would see NATO’s navy forces straight partaking with Russian planes. That would embrace taking pictures at Russian plane.
NATO has thus far rejected these calls.
“To say that that may be escalatory, I believe that exhibits the shortage of spine in NATO proper now,” Hillier instructed Evan Solomon.
