Apply for an ATB World Elite Mastercard during the month of March and receive it as a limited edition metal card

ATB (Alberta Treasury Branch) is now offering their World Elite Mastercard as a metal card! This is a limited time promotion for the month of March only and it is for new applicants only, existing customers are not eligible for the metal card. The allure of a metal card is still pretty fresh for Canadians - we haven't had them around as long as the U.S. and some people are really drawn in by them! So if you've been thinking of applying for the ATB World Elite Mastercard why not do it now to get this limited edition card?

The Welcome Offer

Not only does it come as a metal card this month, when you are approved for the card you will have your first year $120 annual fee waived. Then once you receive the card and make your first purchase with it you'll 15,000 bonus points which are worth $150.

Card Details

The card earns 1.5% on all purchases, awarded as 1.5 points per dollar, no accelerated earn offers but also no lower base earn rate. Just that nice easy 1.5% on everything. Actually I should correct myself, every April they offer 2% back (2 points per dollar) spent on the World Elite Card. So this is the perfect time to get the card as you'll be lining up to have in your wallet for April!

As it is a World Elite Mastercard it has a good insurance package and offers the benefits that are seen on all WE cards such as Mastercard Airport Experiences by Loungekey, Ritual credits and free global Wi-Fi with Boingo Wi-Fi.

The main thing to note however is since this card is issued by ATB it is only available for Alberta residents.

Wrapping it up

Here we have another metal card entering the Canadian market albeit for only a month with this limited time offer. So this card will be a bit more unique than other metal cards due to the limited number of people who will have it. If you are in Alberta this isn't a bad card to check out for its simplicity in earn and burn rates and benefits from being a World Elite Mastercard.
