It was claimed that Ramzan Kadyrov's troops, who sent thousands of Chechen fighters to the region after Russia's invasion of Ukraine, were betrayed by Russian spies. Russian spies allegedly told Ukrainians where Chechen troops were.
Oleksiy Arestovych, chief adviser to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy, announced that Chechen troops loyal to Russian President Vladimir Putin were betrayed in the war zone by Russian spies. Arestovych claimed that the location of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov's troops was reported by Russian spies infiltrating Ukrainian forces.
THEY WANT TO WEAK CHENISTAN
Oleksiy Arestovych, who made a statement on the subject in a television program, claimed that the reason for this betrayal was to weaken the Chechen troops, adding that "Chechens still have a significant influence in Russia."
Chechen troops to clash with Russian army
Although Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov often describes himself as Putin's 'loyal soldier', the presence of Chechen soldiers in Ukraine is seen as both an important power and a 'responsibility' for the Kremlin. After Russian Federal Security Service officials' allegations that they were passing information on to Ukrainians, a leaked report stated that Chechen troops would come into conflict with the Russian army or join the Ukrainian army at any moment.
