What Is The Secret Of The Bermuda Triangle?

In this region, which is seen as a triangle when you take a map in your hand and look at it, many mysterious events that have not been explained until now have taken place. The exact number of ships, planes and people lost is not known. For this reason, it has been called a cursed place or the devil's triangle for a long time, and we even use these names from time to time today.

What Is The Secret Of The Bermuda Triangle?
What Is The Secret Of The Bermuda Triangle?

The Bermuda Triangle is a triangle-shaped area that covers 500,000 square miles of the Atlantic Ocean, is located on the southeastern coast of America opening to the Atlantic Ocean, and is within the borders of Miami, Bermuda, and Puerto Rico when viewed from a bird's eye view. There are hundreds of ship and plane wrecks in this part of the ocean. The number of sinking ships, crashed planes and lost people in the last 100 years is expressed in 1000s.

It was said that there were very large magnetic mineral resources under the water in this region, and therefore the electronic systems of the planes were affected by this intense magnetic attraction, and they crashed accordingly. This was believed for so many years that, according to some, there could be no other explanation. But on the other hand, if we think about it, why do ships sink if there is such a thing? Or was this magnetism strong enough to pull and swallow even a ship? No way. Even if there was a magnet effect and the ship was attracted by the principle of opposite poles, it would not be possible to generate enough power to sink a floating ship. In addition, measurements made in that area have repeatedly proven that there is no excessive or above-normal magnetic field.

What really aroused suspicion in the region were the extraordinary events that people described as "white water is forming in the sea". Then, as a result of the dives made with robotic camera water vehicles, it was seen that the bottom of the water was covered with a white sheet, and all the wrecks of the sinking ship and aircraft were found. According to the current theory, which has been put forward as the strongest possibility at the moment, this layer is explained as the gases coming out of the large natural gas source located at the bottom of the sea, solidifying under the effect of high pressure and low temperature, and becoming white hydrate particles. A warm water current called the Gulf Stream also passes through this region. When the hydrate particles at the bottom of the water meet with the hot water stream, they melt and move towards the water surface. As a result, thousands of cubic meters of natural gas are mixed with the water and they greatly reduce the density of the water. If there is a ship passing through the area at that time, the buoyancy force of the water cannot carry the ship due to the density difference and the ship sinks. When the hydrites melt with the hot water current, this white layer formed on the water surface also disappears and the ship completely disappears as if it was not there before.

Likewise, the gases dispersed into the air from the water surface have even less density than the air in the atmosphere, and for the same reason, due to the density difference, the aircraft cannot get enough friction from the air and lose altitude, and because the natural gas molecules hold the oxygen in the air, the engines of the aircraft cannot get the oxygen necessary for combustion.

The event that became most famous by getting lost in the devil's triangle was "Flight 19". At the same time, however, many planes were lost. These were American navy bombers during the second world war. After five Grumman IBM Florida Avenger aircraft left Fort Lauderdale, Florida, at around 2:00 pm on December 5, 1945, the pilots reported good flight conditions.

But then they suddenly disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle. When the last news of Flight 19 was received, a large seaplane was on its way to search, and when the estimated location of the five bombers was reached, the received signal abruptly disappeared after a while. After the disappearance of six planes in a few hours on the same day, the largest search effort in history began. But not a single piece of the plane was found.

The mystery of the Bermuda Triangle has been solved, but everything is not fully known yet. In the coming years, I think that everything about the region known as the "Bermuda Triangle" will be learned in the light of current research.
