CN Tower guide

The CN Tower is a 553.3 m-high concrete communications and observation tower located in the downtown core of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Built on the former Railway Lands, it was completed in 1976. Its name "CN" originally referred to Canadian National, the railway company that built the tower. Following the railway's decision to divest non-core freight railway assets prior to the company's privatization in 1995, it transferred the tower to the Canada Lands Company, a federal Crown corporation responsible for real estate development.

The CN Tower held the record for the world's tallest free-standing structure for 32 years until 2007 when it was surpassed by the Burj Khalifa, and was the world's tallest tower until 2009 when it was surpassed by the Canton Tower. It is now the ninth tallest free-standing structure in the world and remains the tallest free-standing structure on land in the Western Hemisphere. In 1995, the CN Tower was declared one of the modern Seven Wonders of the World by the American Society of Civil Engineers. It also belongs to the World Federation of Great Towers.

I love it, it was my first time experience and totally worth it. Don’t go just for general admission alone(346 m), add skypod (447 m) to have a thrilling experience which is $15 more but trust me it’s worth your money. You can also do edge walk at main observation level and view it live on screen . Washrooms were super clean. Masks were mandatory to wear all the time that we can totally understand. Moreover food (fish and chips) was fantastic. Only things that I missed , first, the outdoor Terrace was closed due to renovations and second , dine in ,it was completely filled in 360 restaurant as you need to do reservation before visiting which I didn’t know. Overall it was fantastic experience, I love it .

Very well done to the organization first of all! Quick, no queue, very respectful which is good during these times.. I find this view one of the best compared to the other “high towers” of the world! Every side has a pleasant view and it was never crowded! Beautiful!

We did the 360 dining experience. And what a great one it was. The food was excellent and reasonably priced considering where you are. But the views just blow everything else away

A pricey experience for a very short walk around the observation tower, but when visiting Toronto it is kind of a must. It does help get a better perspective of the city surroundings.

Really great experience. Didn't get to walk the glass floor as there was an event that night but we did get a free upgrade to the higher up observation area. Incredible views whether it's day or night.
