J. Cole Concert Vegas 2021 Very nice venue... It was my first time in this arena and it was very nice. FYI: If you order drinks from the concession stand, they will remove and throw away the tops from the water bottles and they don't giving tops for the fountain drinks. Still giving 5 Stars because it's a beautiful arena and setup
Enjoyed a meal at Tap Sports bar. The Beyond Meat Burger with Gluten Free bun was very good. Wish we knew where they sourced them....the bun! Needed to wait for a table, while watching tables ready or needing to be cleaned. Seemed to have plenty of staff, many just talking. We were able to find a spot at the bar to wait, and we weren't in a hurry, so enjoyed the "ambiance" 😜 MGM seems to be able to control the smoking smell, of which I'm very grateful.....they seemed to be the only one with minimal/no cigarette aroma we passed through this trip.
*People, there is smoking here so not sure why you're all saying it's smoke free* MGM grand is situated well despite being set back a bit from the actual strip. The tram behind it as well as the walking bridges make getting around the strip itself quite accessible. The MGM was a very nice place to stay, our room was comfortable and clean. I don't get the people saying there's no smoking because while smoking isn't allowed in the rooms or at the gaming tables, there is LOTS of smoking in the slots; so the casino does get smoky so if you're a non-smoker it's a bit much, but it's their choice to allow it and our choice to stay there so you get what you get. We stayed for five days and in all had an enjoyable experience.
As I was directed towards the GRAND GARDEN Area from the main front lobby, I heard Music and the most remarkable voice ever. To my surprise, on the left side of the wide walkway, I saw a singer set up with the most amazing Sound System ever so I was forced to sit, and Eat while listening to more. The servers were welcoming, lighting was perfect, is a nice long couched areas throughout the space and a little dancing was allowed for a Birthday Girl too.
The hotel accommodations are excellent. We were there over Halloween weekend so we expected the whole town to be crazy, and it did not disappoint. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was helpful and friendly and the MGM Grand itself is a really fun casino with lots of great entertainment and things to do. The only thing we weren't impressed with was the concert security/staff and the buffet, which we thought was overpriced for the food being served. Overall, we had a great experience and we absolutely stay at MGM again.
