A little bit quieter then is nearby big neighbor Marmaris and also a nicer beach Although a lot quieter it is also a lot more relaxed you don't get all the night life of Marmaris if you want that you can get there cheap enough on the Dolmus or taxi or even try the water taxi still got plenty of bars and restaurants to pick from and on the upside it's cheaper and also more relaxed then it's near neighbour

Beautiful Icmeler beach. I've lost count how many times I've been back since my first visit in 2017. Quieter now as the season draws to a close. Spacious beach surrounded by beautiful mountains that feel like they are giving you a hug as you swim in the sea and soak up the sun! Sunbeds are free if you buy a drink. Free WiFi is pretty much standard. Enjoy! Too good to be true. I couldn't imagine such a cold water in August before. Not very crowded. Best beach you can ever find in Marmaris. Ps:there are little fishes that are found of biting. world travel like
Busy tourist beach with a good selection of bars and restaurants for a quick bite before the walk to marmaris. If you want to indulge then try the waffle bar. Yummy Excellent beach with gritty sand which has some of the tiniest shells, if you care to look for them. We also saw fish and a turtle which comes into the bay most days. We were advised not to buy from the hawkers on the beach as they are expensive.Good place to visit.Clear water. Good for swimmers. There are cold springs in the area, so water gets colder at night, as for June, but in the afternoon water is warm and pleasant again.
Is Icmeler Beach Sandy?
This is one of the most peaceful beaches with clean, fine golden sand stretching along 6 km of coastline. It's easy to hop on a dolmuş (a kind of taxi/minibus) or a water taxi to get to one of the other sandy beaches a bit further afield.
Is Marmaris or Icmeler better?
The main difference is what you look for in a resort. Marmaris is much bigger and has lots to do - the whole promenade is lined with bars and restaurants, and there's shops all over with a big covered bazaar down behind the marina. Icmeler is much smaller but still has a good choice of bars and restaurants.
