Big money rodeo final heads to Sin City
The Wrangler National Rodeo Finals will descend upon Las Vegas this December, as the best cowboys from across the globe compete for their share in $5 million worth of prize money – not to mention the odd golden belt buckle or two as well.
From December 4th – 13th the Thomas & Mack Centre will see thousands of avid spectators gather to watch 120 of the world”s best – and bravest – compete in what some call the ”Superbowl of Rodeos”.
The event has taken place since 1959, having been in Oklahoma for decades before switching to its current home in Las Vegas.
Anyone who has taken in a rodeo competition says that it is like a slice of true Americana, and slices don’t come much bigger than the national finals, which promise to be bigger and better than ever.
Top riders like three-time All-Around Best Cowboy winner Trevor Brazille can earn hundreds of thousands of dollars a year in prize money, not to mention extra income from sponsorship and appearances.
