Hotel accommodation in London and Edinburgh is the most expensive in Europe, new research by Trivago has revealed.
Visitors to the two cities paid an average of £126 in London and £123 in Edinburgh between June and August this year, the hotel price index found.
It was also revealed that Granada in Spain offered the best accommodation deals, with the average room going for £67 a night.
